Huffington Post: Hosting of the 4th European Central Bank Simulation Conference

The application process for the 4th European Central Bank Simulation Conference is currently underway.

Get Involved – with the support of the Bank of Greece – brings to the fore the views and concerns of young economists by participating in the ECB Listens. The views submitted in the form of proposals by the participants of the 4th ECB Simulation Conference will be formulated into findings by Get Involved. In turn, Get’s scientific team will submit the findings to the Bank of Greece, where they will be presented to the ECB in the framework of the institutional dialogue between citizens and the Bank.

➡️Αt the end of the conference will be formulated by Get Involved Summary Report of the findings.

➡️The Summary Report will form part of the overall Report to be forwarded to the Governing Council of the ECB.

The innovative student conference is moving to the new digital reality and will be conducted entirely online through the Polymnia platform developed by the Get Involved team with a commitment to maintaining the Conference Experience at the highest level.

A few words about Polymnia:

– It is an interactive platform on which each user sets up a personal profile, connects it to other social media and can post material, as well as access the study guides listed by the organizing committee.

– At the same time, the ability to communicate with all users is ensured, the video call feature is incorporated & the ability to edit documents together in real time.

The opening day of the 4th Hellenic Capital Markets Simulation Conference will include a series of speeches by distinguished academics and representatives of the Institutions and the financial sector. The nature of this opening session – Training Day – is to deliver targeted talks focused on the topics that delegates will have studied pre-conference and worked on within the Conference.

The following days of the Conference, where the bulk of the discussions among the Delegates will take place, will include targeted executive talks by market executives.

ü This move is intended to enhance the perspective and knowledge of the delegates through the coupling of the performances of market people and the strong academic background of the participants.

ü At the end of the Conference and based on their performance, both within the conference proceedings and their active participation, the Conference prizes will be awarded, which in Simulation 3 were scholarships for educational , Seminars & e-learning programs with a total value of 3,000 euros.

· As part of the digital transformation of the 4th ECB Simulation Conference for students, an E-badge knowledge certification process will be introduced for those participants who wish to obtain it. This certification will allow participants to automatically link the acquired knowledge certificate from the Conference to their digital CV or LinkedIn profile.

The Conference offers a unique opportunity for students of Economics, Law, and International and European Studies, while participation is encouraged for students of all academic levels.

The working language of the Conference is Greek.
