Publication of the “ESG & Sustainability Youth Perspectives III” Survey
For the third consecutive year, Get Involved is publishing the “ESG & Sustainability Youth Perspectives III” survey, capturing how young people in Greece perceive ESG and Sustainability.
This year’s survey was conducted with the participation of 401 young people, primarily students aged 18–23.
The findings show that young people are calling for more meaningful education around ESG and Sustainability. They point to the existence of a continuing—though gradually narrowing—gap between the current and the desired role of Greek universities in providing education on ESG and sustainability-related issues. At the same time, ESG is now influencing young people’s choices, both in terms of where they want to work and from whom they prefer to consume. As for institutions, young people recognise their role in advancing ESG and Sustainability; however, they remain cautious about whether sustainability targets will actually be achieved, at least within the announced timelines.
The message is clear: young people are not a passive audience in the transition towards Sustainability. They have a voice, expectations, and a role to play.
