Get Involved Participates in Global Money Week 2026 under the National Coordination of the Bank of Greece
On Monday, 16 March 2026, the Bank of Greece, acting as the national coordinator of Global Money Week 2026, issued a Press Release entitled: “Launch of Global Money Week 2026 with Bank of Greece as national coordinator”, highlighting the organisations participating in this year’s initiative and implementing related actions to promote financial literacy.
It is with particular pleasure and honour that Get Involved is, once again this year, included among the organisations featured in the official Press Release of the Bank of Greece, through which the contribution of each organisation to financial literacy is acknowledged.
Get Involved’s participation in Global Money Week 2026 is being carried out through its distinct initiative entitled “Youth Financial Literacy & Future Expectations Survey (18–30)”, a short and anonymous Europe-wide survey addressed to young people aged 18–30. The survey examines basic financial knowledge, financial habits, the degree of confidence in financial decision-making, as well as young people’s expectations regarding the labour market and their future.
The reference to our action in the official Press Release of the Bank of Greece constitutes an honour for Get Involved and, at the same time, confirms the continuous and systematic effort we have been making since 2017 to strengthen young people’s financial literacy through initiatives with a meaningful social impact.
At a time when financial literacy is increasingly emerging as a critical asset for the younger generation, it is particularly important for youth-oriented initiatives to be part of the public dialogue and to contribute actively to the promotion of knowledge, skills and reflection around personal finance, as well as to the empowerment of young Europeans.
