Discussing Gen Z: University, Work & the Future
Get Involved announces the organization of the seminar conference titled “Discussing Gen Z: University, Work & the Future”, in collaboration with the Department of Accounting and Finance of the University of West Attica.
The event will take place on Friday, March 13, 2026, at the Conference Center of the University of West Attica (250 Thivon Ave., Egaleo).
Purpose of the event:
The event aims to create a meaningful dialogue around the role of young people today and is open to all students and young individuals who are interested in better understanding the contemporary challenges and opportunities related to education, their professional development, and their active participation in society.
It seeks to present the opportunities offered to students through the university and the way in which they can smoothly transition from academic to professional life, while also examining their role in the modern corporate environment. At the same time, emphasis will be placed on highlighting young people as carriers of the European identity, underlining their contribution to shaping a more cohesive and democratic Europe.
Within this context, the event is part of Get Involved’s broader Youth Engagement pillar, which includes initiatives aimed at informing, empowering, and providing practical stimuli to young people, promoting their active participation in public dialogue and in shaping the future.
Thematic sections:
With the aim of a holistic approach to the challenges and opportunities faced by young people today, the structure of the event is organized around four thematic sections:
- The role of young people in business
- Social entrepreneurship, university & youth
- European institutions and the role of young people
- Alternative youth choices: Youth & careers
Participation is free of charge and certificates of attendance will be provided.
If you are interested in the future of studies, work, and youth participation in society, we are waiting for you to become part of the discussion!
