Get Involved publishes “Get Discussions V”: Findings of the 9th ECB Simulation Conference
Get Involved announces the publication of Get Discussions V – Findings of the 9th ECB Simulation Conference for university students, a report capturing the key takeaways, youth perspectives, and ideas that emerged during this year’s ECB Simulation Conference in Athens (21–24 November 2025).
The 9th ECB Simulation Conference brought together 143 young participants -mainly undergraduate students in economics, law, and international studies- to engage with real-world topics through listening to distinguished professionals, participating to structured debate and a roundtable discussion.
What you’ll find in the report:
- Youth views on monetary policy and inflation, with strong emphasis on data-driven decisions and clear communication.
- Key messages on ESG and financial resilience, including why climate risk matters for financial stability.
- Priorities for the Digital Euro, from accessibility and usability to privacy safeguards and security.
- Insights on financial literacy as a life skill—and what young people need to navigate today’s financial reality.
“Get Discussions V reflects our belief that young people can engage meaningfully with complex economic issues—when given the space, the tools, and a structured process for dialogue,” said Vassilis Angelopoulos, Co-Founder of Get Involved.
The publication is part of Get Involved’s Get Discussions initiative, documenting the outcomes of each annual ECB Simulation Conference and translating youth dialogue into accessible insights for students, stakeholders, and the wider public.
