We are proud to announce that Get Involved participated as an Academic and Organizing Partner at the Model European Union Strasbourg (MEUS) 2025, the largest simulation of the EU’s institutional framework, through its co-founders, Vasilis Angelopoulos and Anthony Efstathiadis.

Following the establishment of a Memorandum of Understanding between Get Involved and MEUS, our shared commitment to enhancing youth understanding of European economic governance took a significant step forward. For the first time in MEUS history, an ECB Committee was introduced — a milestone made possible through our collaboration.

The ECB  committee focused on two pressing issues shaping the future of the euro area:
🔹 The Digital Euro
🔹 Climate Risk Stress Tests

Get Involved played a leading role in the development and delivery of the committee, by:
• Designing the official study materials to ensure high academic standards
• Hosting preparatory workshops to equip participants with knowledge on the ECB’s mandate and policy tools
• Providing on-site academic support during the sessions to help guide the debates and proceedings

The ECB Committee received excellent feedback for its educational value, offering university students a unique opportunity to explore the ECB’s structure, instruments, and evolving role in the European economy.

We are honored to have supported the integration of central banking topics into this flagship simulation and proud to have contributed to the financial literacy and institutional awareness of future European leaders.

This is just the beginning — we look forward to deepening our partnership with MEUS. And this is just the beginning – we eagerly anticipate deepening our collaboration with MEUS. Through the synthesis of ideas, open dialogue, and the creation of meaningful synergies, we are strengthening our work and evolving our initiatives. Our goal is to educate, empower, and inspire the new generation towards a substantial understanding of and active participation in European and economic developments.
