Get Involved participates in the EESC Plenary Session: The Involvement of youth in the work of ECO section – Recent experience and way forward
Get Involved is proud to announce its participation in the upcoming Plenary Session of the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC). Get Involved will be the sole representative of the youth at the level of civil society organisations, bringing its experiences from participating in the EU Youth Test.
The debate will be streamed on 17 May from 11:00 to 12:15 and provides a vital platform for young people to engage in dialogues that shape the future of the European Union.
“We are honoured to represe
t the youth of Greece at this important event,” said Anthony Efstathiadis, Co-founder, Get Involved, “It is a unique opportunity to recognise that the voices and priorities of our generation will be heard at EU level.”
This debate is part of the EESC’s ongoing efforts to implement the EU Youth Test, a pilot project aimed at assessing the impact of EU policies on young people.
Get Involved believes that its adoption is essential to ensure inclusive and youth-led decision-making across the EU.
The debate will be broadcast live on the EESC website on 17 May. For more information, please visit: https://www.eesc.europa.eu/en/agenda/our-events/events/eescs-eu-youth-test-and-its-implementation-opinions-eco-section
