We are pleased to announce the speakers for the 5th European Central Bank Simulation Conference for university students. Their presence honors the Conference, and it is a special privilege and joy for Get Involved to have their active support. A special gratitude to the Bank of Greece for its continuous support and to the ECB, which is officially represented at the conference for the first time at the speaker level.

The speakers demonstrate their support for educational initiatives in a tangible way and act as carriers of knowledge and experience, creating a bridge between universities, institutions, and the market.
In this year’s Simulation Conference, which is being conducted under the conditions of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, the Get Involved team is further enhancing the Conference Process, providing participants a platform to express their opinions on critical issues in European Monetary Policy through Get Involved Discussions.

The conference will cover the following themes:

• The impact of ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) factors on the European financial sector.
• The challenges of the Monetary Policies in the post-pandemic era and their interactions with Fiscal Policies.
• The challenges of the digital economy and specifically of the Digital Euro (Central Bank Digital Currency).

After the conclusion of the Conference – which will take place from December 10th to 13th – there will be follow-up publications regarding the themes and conclusions.
