Sustainable Future V: Industry in Practice: How ESG Becomes Strategy, Risk & Opportunity
Sustainable Future returns for its 5th consecutive year and, for the first time, as a two-day Conference, taking place on 25–26 May 2026 at the Head Office of the Bank of Greece (21 El. Venizelou Street).
It is one of the country’s leading youth-focused Conferences in the topics of Sustainability and ESG, bringing together the youth, academia, market representatives, and institutional representatives in a meaningful dialogue on how sustainability is put into practice.
Sustainable Future V focuses on something simple yet critical:
How can sustainability be translated into strategy, risk, investment, and real business decisions?
Against a backdrop of geopolitical shifts, heightened supervisory expectations, technological acceleration, and the rapid rise of AI, the Conference will explore sustainability not as theory, but as a tool for strategy and competitiveness.
The conference proceedings will be summarised and published, contributing to the wider dissemination of knowledge and reflection on current developments in the ESG space.

Youth Debate – Placing Young Voices at the Centre
For the first time, the Sustainable Future event will open with a Youth Debate, where students and young professionals will engage with the following question:
Is sustainability a political choice, a communications trend, or an economic necessity?
The debate gives young people an active role and sets the tone for a conference that goes beyond one-way speeches, encouraging meaningful dialogue instead.
