Athenian Times: Sustainable Future II educational seminar

Following their events around the central theme of sustainability, Get Involved and Just in Case teams are organising the next Friday 5/5/23, the event “Sustainable Future:Prospects and Challenges of the Energy Sector”.

Central to the event, which will take place at Technopolis of the Municipality of Athens, is the energy market and the role of this sector in the sustainable development of the economy. In the midst of the energy crisis, rapid geopolitical developments and new “green” trends, the energy market is called upon to transform. The aim of the event is for the audience to understand the prospects and challenges of the energy sector through contributions from academics, institutional and market representatives. 

The topics that will be developed aim to highlight the economic side of the energy market, the legal regulatory framework and the opportunities for green transformation. 

1st panel: “The energy market in the EU and Greece and the effects of geopolitical developments”

The event will take place on Friday, May 5 at “Miltiadis Evert” amphitheatre in the Technopolis of the Municipality of Athens and aims at a dynamic discussion between the youth and the speakers, who represent the market, the regulatory authorities and the academic community.
