Get Involved’s team, in continuation of its activities around the central theme of Sustainable Future, is organizing -in collaboration with Just In Case, a student team of the Athens Law School- the event entitled: “Sustainable Future: prospects and challenges of the Energy Sector”.

As stated in a relevant announcement, the challenges of the green transformation of the economy, the transition to a zero-emission CO2 economy, as well as the developments that are shaped in the field of international best practices and policies, are analysed in depth through the series of events of the Sustainable Future theme. 

In the second Sustainable Future event – which will take place on 5.5.2023 at Technopolis of the Municipality of Athens – the discussion will revolve around the energy market and the role of this sector in the sustainable development of the economy. In the midst of the energy crisis, rapid geopolitical developments and new “green” trends, the energy market is called upon to transform. The aim of the event is for the audience to understand the prospects and challenges of the energy sector through contributions from academics, institutional and market representatives. 

The themes that will be developed aim to highlight the economic side of the energy market, the legal regulatory framework and the opportunities for green transformation.

The event will take place on Friday, May 5 at “Miltiadis Evert” amphitheatre in the Technopolis of the Municipality of Athens and aims at a dynamic discussion between the youth and the speakers, who represent the market, the regulatory authorities and the academic community.
