Our Structure
Our Objective
Get Involved’s objective is to continuously develop our team’s skills and improve the quality of our projects. To achieve this, a great deal of emphasis is placed on the efficient operation of the organization. As a result, a number of processes and departments have been developed to run our day-to-day operations and projects efficiently.
At Get Involved, there are four departments and four ranks of associates. The departments were formed to cover the needs and work on the day-to-day operations of the team. They are the following: Operations Department, Social Media Department, Communications Department, and Scientific Department. The ranking system is based on the experience and familiarity of our team members with our team’s processes, culture, and modus operandi. The four different ranks are Scientific Associate, Senior Associate, Associate, and Junior Associate.
Departments
Operations Department
The Operations Department is accountable for guaranteeing smooth operation and communication between the associates and departments of Get Involved. Its main responsibilities are the development of the organization’s processes, the maintenance of the operational system of the team, and ensuring efficient and instant communication, both vertically and horizontally, within the organization.
The Operations Department streams are the Digital Presence Stream, Legal Team Stream, Process Improvement Stream, and Documentation & Cloud Management Stream.
Communication Department
The Communication Department is accountable for the efficient external communication of Get Involved with third parties. Some of the stakeholders that Get Involved communicate with financial regulators, corporations, youth-led organizations, and distinguished media. Its main responsibilities are the development of effective communication channels, research for stakeholders, and the management of existing as well as potential partners.
Communication Department streams are Corporate Communication Stream, Youth-Led Organizations Stream, and Press & External Communications.
Social Media Department
The Social Media Department is accountable for the development and implementation of the Social Media strategy and communication. More specifically, this department develops the planning of Get Involved social media campaigns, creates the content that is used and prepares the texts that accompany them. The Social Media Department cooperates directly with the other departments and streams, as well as is responsible for the communication of various Get Involved initiatives to a broad audience is achieved.
Social Media streams are Social Media Development Stream and Newsletter Development Stream.
Scientific Department
The Scientific Department is accountable for the preparation, research, and writing of the materials of the ECB Simulation Conference, the ESG Insights, and the Economic Definition Index. To operate more efficiently and have more qualitative results this department cooperates directly with the Scientific Associates and Management of Get Involved.
In contrast with the other departments, the associates of this department cannot operate only in this department as they have to contribute to other areas of development of the team.
Associates Ranks
Scientific Associates
Scientific Associates are charged with the in-depth involvement and general oversight of all scientific aspects of various projects within the organization. Scientific Associates participate in all scientific department projects with the supervision of materials to be published. The management team trusts the Scientific Associates to the utmost degree, supports their work and contributions, and works closely with them on individual projects.
Senior Associates
Senior Associates are assigned a role of extended involvement and supervision regarding the work of the team they are part of. For example, in projects such as the ECB Simulation Conference, they manage the organizing committee and undertake preparatory calls with the participants. The management team trusts the Senior Associates to the utmost degree, supports their work and contributions, and works closely with them on individual projects.
Associates of such rank have made significant contributions to the organization, and therefore the management team believes that these associates are best suited to pass on the Get Involved culture to new members.
Associates
The Associates’ staff the Get Involved working groups and are able to make suggestions, with the help of the Management team and the Senior Associates, on existing projects or put forward new project ideas. Through their participation in projects and by working with Senior Associates, they gain better insight into how the team works, improving their soft and hard skills in the process. Associates have a solid understanding of the projects and the operation of Get Involved, having participated in several Get Involved projects.
Junior Associates
The Junior Associates position is the entry-level rank and the beginning of the associate’s journey with Get Involved. After having discussed their placement in a team with the Management Team, the Associates have the opportunity to work on various projects with other members. They are trained in the corporate activity of Get Involved and will work directly with Senior Associates and Associates.
This position is the starting point of the overall cooperation between the new associate and the organization. Positive performance at this level will determine the associate’s progress in the Get Involved. By familiarizing themselves with the processes, culture, and modus operandi of the team, they will be able to participate in a wider variety of projects, enjoying greater creative freedom.
