Issue 23 – “Adjusting Course”
Issue 23 of the ESG Insights initiative contains some of the most noteworthy developments in the ESG ecosystem that took place from the 3rd of November of 2023 to the 25th of January 2024, across the international and Greek spectrum. In this issue, national, regulatory and corporate developments aiming to achieve a more environmentally and socially sustainable future are examined.
The February Issue contains thirty-five unique topics, ranging from the announcement of Global Pledge on Renewables and Energy Efficiency by EU, COP28 Presidency and 118 countries to the political agreement between European Council and Commission about the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive. Other key developments are the investigation of Competition and Markets Authority of UK on the green claims of Unilever, the European Banking Authority’s public consultation for the development of guidelines for the management of ESG risks, the recognition of Eurobank for their ESG practices by Morningstar Sustainalytics and the joining of TITAN to the Industrial Transition Accelerator initiative.
