Issue 8, June 2022 – “Facing the Future”
Issue 8 of the ESG Insights initiative contains some of the most noteworthy developments in the ESG ecosystem that took place in May 2022, across the international and Greek spectrum. In this issue, national, corporate and regulatory developments aspiring to achieve a more environmentally and socially sustainable future are examined.
The June Issue contains fourteen unique topics, ranging from Pfizer’s plan to provide 1.2 billion citizens from lower-income nations its patent-protected medications and vaccines, to the US Department of Energy’s pledge to accelerate carbon management. Other key developments included are the publication of IBM’s “CEO Study: Own your impact”, highlighting the increased weight of ESG, the SEC proposals to make ESG disclosures more transparent and tangible, Greece’s first climate-related law and the approval of Hellenic Cable’s near and long term greenhouse emissions reduction targets by SBTi.
